Québec City

This summer, I traveled to Quebec with my family and we had the most delightful week there soaking in the sights, sampling the delicious Quebec specialties, and of course spending time with each other.

We spent a few days in Quebec City (where they serve the most delectable of tartares) and then headed up to Charlevoix to get a taste for life in the cottage country. Although each city in Canada has it's own unique character, Quebec is special on a completely different level. Combining the beauty of Europe, with the culture of Paris, and the charm of Canada - if there's one place I would do over and over again, this is it.

Top highlights in no particular order was visiting La Citadel and getting to see city from a whole new perspective, watching the fireworks on the first night we arrived, running through the fields in Charlevoix, and of course, ALL the yummy food we ate. If you have the opportunity to visit this beautiful province, you must have some tartare, the duck confit, and the tarte sucre - which was absolutely divine. I could literally talk about the food forever, but for now I will leave you with these pictures.

Will follow up with a more detailed post raving about the food when I have some time to breathe.
